The Bellevue College Tech Startup Club, in collaboration with the BC Computer Programming Club and BC Tech Club, embarked on an enlightening journey through the heart of technology innovation on Veterans Day 2023. The chosen destination? The iconic Microsoft Headquarters in Washington. With around 50 eager participants, our club members were treated to an in-depth exploration of the tech giant’s sprawling campus.

Our day kicked off with a gracious reception from our Microsoft guide, setting the stage for an immersive experience. As we gathered in the lobby, the guide shared fascinating insights into Microsoft’s inception, milestones, and contributions to the tech landscape. The narrative was not just a stroll down memory lane; it was a captivating journey through the technological evolution that has defined Microsoft’s legacy.

Journey Through Microsoft's Campus:

Our Microsoft campus tour was a riveting journey through time and innovation. Historic structures whispered tales of early triumphs, while modern counterparts showcased the latest breakthroughs. Our journey continued into the merchandise area, a paradise for tech enthusiasts. Here, the latest Xbox consoles, powerful PCs, and sleek tablets were showcased, allowing our members to interact with the very products that define Microsoft’s current market presence. The branded clothing and mugs added a touch of personality, giving our members the chance to take home a piece of the Microsoft experience.

For the computer science students in our group, the tour was not just a sightseeing adventure; it was a valuable educational opportunity.
